The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict is a conflict since the 19^th century, between Israelis and Palestinians for the power of land that is considered holy to the Jews. This conflict is known as one of the longest conflicts in history. The Israelis wanted Palestine, but Turkey had the control of it, and because most of the people living there were Arabs. Also in this conflict, the Zionists tried to create a homeland for the Jews so they decided to take the land by force. Since then, the Middle East has been continuously fighting. The result violence of this conflict has taken international actions, security and human rights concerns, and internationally. This conflict violence had cause an expansion of tourism in the region, because of its full of historic and religious places. 

The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict has come known worldwide and also other countries are involving to the conflict trying to stop it. For example, Sweden is one of the countries involved and trying to help by stopping the conflict. The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict has caused a great effect in the Middle East. Sweden, regarding this topic, has such a great knowledge that they have English and History textbooks explaining the conflict to Elementary and Middle Schools. The Swedish position in this topic is that they are trying to help to stop the conflict. Swedish is giving proposals and draft resolutions stating that Jerusalem would be divided and that the eastern part of the city would be later on the future Palestinian state. Israel disagreed violently at a Swedish proposal to recognize east Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine because Israel doesn’t want Sweden to involve in the conflict between them and Palestine.

My delegation solutions are basically things to stop the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict that has lasted so long. One of the solutions is to try to work hard and build peace to Israel and Palestine. Other solutions are to make an official agreement statement of how will they own the land by dividing it, so they can’t fight anymore for land. Having strong and secure police borders to avoid the cause of a war. My delegation thinks Palestine and Israel should have a truce to stop fighting for territory and no more wars because this conflict is affecting lots of countries in the Middle East. My delegation is open to any other solutions regarding to stop this severe conflict.
